A “caffé sospeso” (suspended coffee, Ed.) is an Italian tradition from Naples. It goes back in the days when a wealthy person used to go to a coffee bar and buy a coffee for himself and one extra for the next potential customer who couldn’t afford it.
A “caffé sospeso” is a symbol of community and culture, and so it is this new concept bar. Caffé Sospeso aims to be a day-time social club, where people can meet and support each other as part of a real community, while they enjoy a good coffee and a curated selection of food and drinks.
